College Life

I was with some guy I like (not Devin, though). We were with this other guy, and the guy asks if I can drop a "package" (drugs) off to his friend. I'm at this college campus, in a dorm room, and tell him that I have a class to attend and that "a friend might stop me at some point, so I can have her do it." Whoever this friend is, I tell him that she's really against drugs, so she might not do it. I told him that he'll just have to deal with whatever consequences, because I was late for class and we were running out of options. (Whyyy he couldn't do this himself, I don't know.) For some reason, though, maybe before this part of the dream, I actually dropped this package off with her already, because I somehow knew that she would end up doing it. I don't know.. confusing. Anyways, now I'm with a woman in a shower and we are making love. We are in a basement. It's very bachelor pad-like, messy, studio apartment kind of. I don't know what happens to the lady, but afterwards I am in this bachelor pad, and I am searching for Devin. He comes down the stairs with a laundry basket, and I hug him as hard as physically possible. Woke up.

Everyone's Listening

I am at my sister's house and apparently she has a second story deck, because I am sitting on a chair there with this dude. I like him. We're talking about something - don't remember what. My sister wants to take our picture together.

Somehow we end up in a town that is kind of cartoon-ish. We're walking around, and I point up at the sky. It looks like there are cop cars off in the distance.... in the sky. The guy says something that is meant to explain what's happening, but I'm still really confused. We start to head for shelter, towards a school.

 I'm in the school looking for a radio station area. I see the dude I like, and he stops me and hands me these cups and tells me he has to go back home and grab something he forgot. I take the cups and head into the radio area. Lost, looking for something. (Something bad is going on, I just don't know what, and I am panicking.) A woman comes up to me with a microphone, about to hand it to me, and says "We're just going to start. Everyone's listening." (I'm assuming this guy I liked was supposed to be the speaker or something, I don't know.) I back away from the lady with my hands up, nervous, and tell her I don't know what's happening. I walk off into a darker area of the room, waking up.

8/5/10 - Dogs Are A Delicacy.

There is a lake and I'm standing on this rock near the shore.. The mustang is half-in the water, and near the rock, so I carefully get onto the top of the car and have Devin help me up and out of the lake.. It seems I can't swim or maybe there was something in the water.. Also, it's really dark out.


Then I'm in Warrens, right in town. It's the end of a parade and I'm sitting on the corner of Railroad St. and Cty Hwy O (I google-mapped this just now for the correct location, and also the picture in this entry is actually of the spot where I was sitting..). This girl of about sixteen with long blond hair walks to the center of the road with this pink barbie sled/bike (it had wheels, but was flat like a sled). She gets in the sled and spins around and around, kind of making a fool of herself like most teens do for attention. :) She's too big for this contraption, so she skids out twice, and eventually people yell for her to get off the road. A sister of hers walks to her with a towel and puts the towel around her as she changes for some reason. The sister gives me the evil eye, as if I'm bad news. When this sixteen year-old is done changing, she walks over to where I am and sits down to my right. She starts flirting with me, with Devin to my left. I feel awful, but I like the attention, so I flirt back even though she's a bit young. There is this white table in front of us and I have gum in front of me. She reaches for a piece without asking and it bothers me a lot. Then she starts to grab this iPhone that is Devin's, but we catch her in time, and I give it to Devin. We start taking pictures and we have this screen so we can see our pictures while we take them.. I notice our teeth are sharp, like a vampire's. Then we disolve and I become this man in a grunge band taking pictures by this tree with his band. They are wearing fangs. Then I become myself again and I start walking to my aunt's house, down this trail, but I walk on my tippy-toes, like a ballerina. I walk like this all the way to my aunt's home. I walk up their ramp and notice these two cats that are starving. Their stomach's are sunk in and their fur is matted. They need food soon or they'll die. I don't seem worried, so I walk off and on my way I look on the ground for something for the cats to eat. I figure if I find something for them, I'll walk back.

I'm in this hospital room now and in the bed is my great-uncle Walt. My whole family is surrounding him and at one point we are all making small talk and the issue is about meat.. My cousin Megan pipes up that she heard dogs are a delicacy and are supposedly the tastiest meat.



Lake

7/26/2010 - Competition.

I'm in this big tent. I'm dating Tegan Quin. She's dating someone else at first, though.. She goes outside to call this person.. I'm in this tent still, sifting through pictures. Then Tegan comes back in from making her phone call and kisses me as if she wasn't dating someone else and it was with me this whole time.

Devin and I work together. We are in a lunchroom, competing for some girl's attention. Either a famous crush, or a townie crush.. I'm drinking coffee and it's 2/3s gone. Cold. I push it away and notice Devin is going to win the girl's heart.

Dreamt I awoke. I grabbed for the glass of ice water I keep by my side of the bed, but notice that soda is there. I go for the soda instead. After actually awaking, I think that the dream is so real that I had to check my nightstand for a glass of soda just to be sure..

12/28/03 - Dead People On A School Bus?

Last night I only got an hour of sleep. I know I dreamt, because when I awoke I had fragments of dreams, which became forgotten within a few seconds upon waking. I think that if I can't remember a dream, I'll go through old old journals and find a random one to post. I found one in a journal from 9/13/03 to 11/21/04. So here goes one on the date 12/28/03. For shameful reasons, I am hiding a name that I mention in here, because.. well, it's embarrassing to mention past crushes.



"I had a great but crazy dream. First, I woke up wishing I'd fallen back asleep. I DREAMT OF ****! ... That's a first. The first thing I can remember was that I was new to school. I remember having to go to a phys-ed class, but it wasn't THAT bad. **** was there. Ahh! Nice. So then I remember getting onto a school bus and seeing either dead people or sleeping people on the bus, so I ended up taking a seat in the front. (My sister Sarah was with me). For some reason, the bus must have changed into a car at some point. The song Geek USA came on, and I told Sarah about it being a Smashing Pumpkins' song, and the bus driver turned around and said, "I'm a huge fan of SP!" - That was cool. Then all I remember after that was the end, when I walked out of my house and there was this huge crowd outside. I saw my mom and her friend, and I came over to them and said "Hi". One of them asked me if I had ever flown before. Then the house starts to fly, like an airplane. We were on this concrete pad-like porch that was connected to the house, so we were flying up into the clouds with the house. Then I saw the town in bird's eye view, and I saw **** in the crowd that was still outside where the house had been, and **** kept looking at me as if wanting to say something to me. It was weird. So then while up in the air, I began telling my mom how my day at school was. Then I woke up, because something I said made me realize I had been dreaming the whole time."

Dead

• To see the dead in your dream, forewarns that you are being influenced by negative people and are hanging around the wrong crowd. This dream may also be a way for you to resolve your feelings with those who have passed on. Alternatively, the dream symbolizes material loss.

Bus

I don't normally like to think dreams mean anything, but after reading this, and then reading ahead a few days later, I've found something strange I'd like to add. A week or so after I had this dream, I became home schooled. In real life, not in the dream, I had been harassed by these guys on the school bus (which maybe that meant in the dream, that those people were all dead to me. Forgotten.) Maybe the Smashing Pumpkins came into play because that band got me through the years of dropping out of school. (and holy wow, the lyrics.. pretty much summed up that experience of dropping out). The house flying up might have meant that I was getting away from all these people, trying to get a safe distance away from the hectic world. To disconnect myself from the outside world.
